No matter how many times you watch this, watching Anakin burning on the ground while Obi Wan talks about the love and faith he had for him never fails to hurt. It makes me appreciate Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones more because those films instilled within me a love and connection to these characters, and George Lucas greatly succeeded at pulling off an emotional betrayal story here.

A pure masterclass in every direction. The film takes its time introducing you to its setting and characters, then it kicks into full throttle and never stops. Everything in this film is magnificent so there’s not really any point in writing a long review. The editing and music are some of the best I’ve seen and heard respectively, and the acting is absolute perfection for the tone of the film.
