(Differently formatted short review)

In the film, Cookie and her brother run away from their loveless mother and their abusive stepfather in Upstate New York and arrive in New York City.  At the train station, Cookie meets a pimp named Duke, and with his charm, he makes her fall in love with him and soon has her working as a prostitute.  However, his brutality against her colleagues soon disgusts her.

This was a great way to close out today’s cinema double feature. Going into this one, I will fully it that I wasn’t overly confident that this would be a success. Bond 60th anniversary rankings 

Another of the James Bond 60th anniversary showings I was lucky enough to see at the cinema and one that whilst having some glaring issues in it’s presentation still manages to be an extremely engrossing and fun action adventure.

The film’s plot sees Bond being suspended from MI6 as he pursues drug lord Franz Sanchez, who has ordered an attack against Bond's CIA friend Felix Leiter and the murder of Felix's wife after their wedding.
