This is (as of now) the only Mission Impossible film I have seen in theaters. Saw this with my dad and some of our neighbors when I was around 10 years old. While I was mostly confused at nearly everything that was happening, due to both me having never seen a MI film before and not understanding a single thing that came out of their mouths, I was weirdly locked into the whole thing. Now that I've seen everything that leads up to this film, I can whole heartedly say that this shit is absolutely ballistic, investing, and insane on every level.
Don't know what they did to make THIS the standout of the franchise, but when you look at the opening sequences, the returning arcs, the twists, the action, the running, the emotion, and THAT CLIMAX WITH THE HELICOPTERS AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Even 10 year old me knew that was insane and it was a beautiful experience witnessing it again, albeit not being on a gigantic theater screen (nonetheless it's still insane). Gonna be rewatching so many moments from this one for a while. Crazy how Henry Cavil can be a much better actor when he puts himself into good films
