if I had a nickel for every late 20th century period piece starring Josh O’Connor as a scruffy-looking man who steals valuable objects directed by a woman I’d have two nickels. which isn’t a lot but it’s weird it’s happened twice

I was significantly more interested in every storyline besides the romance, which I didn’t feel sold on at all - the love interest is a charisma void. A shame since we know Simone does romance so well with the right scene partner!
