Watching this film was an emotional rollercoaster, as K’s story easily appears relatable to most of the audience and the actor’s capabilities were absolutely stunning. Its direction left me speechless, as it perfectly captures the essence of the moments depicting the complexity of the situations. 
Then, you would think, why did I give half a star to this ‘masterpiece’?

The first part was simply perfect: the first murders were congruent to Alighieri’s Inferno punishments to each one of the seven deadly sins.
In the second half the film pace became faster and although I didn't appreciate it much - as it led to much less accuracy in the last murders - Fincher's decision to 'break' the monotony it was gaining and not bore his audience is completely understandable.
