This is exactly the kind of mediocre film that wouldn't piss me off were it not for Taylor Sheridan being the one behind it.

I really love his previous works, both as writer and director, so this perfectly fine summer blockbuster à la 90s feels like a step backwards for me.

Simply put, it's a decent piece of genre filmmaking, with Angelina Jolie no less and a quite consistent child performance that took me by surprise. I just really wish there was something else here to talk about.
