Full on assault on the senses. Takes an obnoxious and in-your-face Tarantino story and just the best thing you could do with it. Give it to Oliver Stone who is on coke and mushrooms. Extremely gnarly with no pulled punches. This film has such an evil presence from the get-go. Even before the studio logos hit you already are hit with disturbing imagery that makes you feel gross and unsafe. Sally Hawkins is demented here, absolutely incredible performance that really displays her range. The manipulation on display is such a gross use of power it is beyond disturbing.
