We don't get enough westerns these days. The Harder They Fall proves that there are still western stories worth telling. The film's mostly black cast gives the historically whitewashed genre a refreshingly new perspective. Visually, this film was an absolute treat. A real work of distinct and colorful western eye candy to feast upon. What really makes it work is having such stylish flair, without making the plot feel rushed—keeping it in pace with westerns of old.
