A product of its time yet definitely still a suspenseful and successful supernatural horror film that plays beautifully on the viewers nerves. A pioneer of the found footage genre that permeated the common culture. Here and there the incredibly low budget shows but it mostly holds up spectacularly 26 years later. The ending was brilliantly ambiguous but also a tiny bit unsatisfying but ultimately the film is a skillfully executed horror classic.
