Bree Mills continues to be one of the most important directors in adult film. She continues to push the boundaries of what is typically expected in adult films. She gave us a harrowing horror film in Birth and now she gives us a great romantic drama that tackles the struggles of a husband and wife in a ionless marriage.

Lexi Luna, who is a true queen, shines in this performance as Charlotte. Lexi Luna typically plays a very confident and…

Perfect scene in this film that makes it the best superhero film. The scene of Peter sitting in the Doctor's office is something that I think is missing from all other superhero films especially the MCU. Raimi and Tobey bring emotional resonance to this film that is just missing, when we have to crank up the epicness in MCU films. Tobey sitting in the Doctor's office where he has a frank and "honest" discussion about losing his powers. He gets…

Well since Letterboxd is gonna fall into line gotta re-add this review for the short film. Gonna say it again as I did in my review for The Party's Over, which has been removed, but I hope Lexi Luna's Elise divorced her husband over the events of this film because god she deserves so much better.

Really cool sci-fi concept of a man who invents a device that allows s to share dreams together in a borderline matrix way. The system…

Watched another from the Daiei Gothic Ghost Stories box set. I have heard of the Yokai that is the Snow Woman before but never read or seen an adaptation of the tale before. I hear its adapted in Kwaidan and man I still need to see that. Great film though not only does it tell a good ghost story but the tender romance of the film is just lovely in the relationship between Yuki and Yosaku. Shiho Fujimura's eyes are…

Solid spinoff to the John Wickiverse. Ana de Armas trades Keanu’s go to pistol action for explosions and fire. Starts off with a lengthy explanation of why we’re getting revenge because that’s all everyone in this universe leaves house for. Then we get a training montage that ends with Ana being told to just hit dudes in the balls. We also Fast X it and Ana was just ever so slightly offscreen for some of the events of John Wick 3. Action…

Can’t believe it’s taken John Maclean 10 years to make another feature. Slow West was so good with Fassbender and Maclean returns to give us a spin on the western genre by making it a samurai western in Scotland.

Tim Roth is brilliantly dastardly as Sugarman in this simple yet compelling crime/weetern/samurai flick. Great use of paralleling the father/child relationship between Roth and Jack Lowden  with Takehiro Hira and Kōki.

Speaking of Kōki’s performance was terrific as the titular Tornado.…
