"Fatal Attraction" is a highly emotional and explosive movie that reduces the word "love" to absurdity. The main protagonist, Alex, is basically a totally poor person who has locked her soul in darkness because of her constant loneliness and many disappointments. Nevertheless, she is aware that she is not doing the right thing, but because of her high intelligence she is also prepared to risk everything and everyone, no matter what. You actually feel sorry for her.
The movie starts off harmless but then becomes increasingly intense and unpleasant, with a nuanced and exciting portrayal and atmosphere. Glenn Close plays the ultimate threat and shows what a deeply disappointed and (in her opinion) betrayed woman is capable of. As a viewer, you can really be afraid of her. Alex's "escapades" become more and more tricky and dangerous, and she finally invades Dan's (Michael Douglas) life in a completely borderline way, terrorizing him and his wife with phone calls and shows up wherever he is. For Alex, who isn't herself anymore, these attempts to win him back are no longer enough and she becomes a deadly danger. I think that after watching this movie, quite a lot of people thought about if its worth it to cheat, because you could potentially pay for it with your life.
