"Ratatouille" is one of those movies where you really don't need a sequel — the original is just flawless and totally enough. It's a fun, charming comedy that's entertaining for kids and adults alike. What's cool is how it tackles moments that other movies usually do the same way, but here they're either rearranged or shown differently, which makes the movie feel fresh and unique. Plus, this lovely Pixar dish brings a rare kind of calmness that adds variety to the usual. It's the perfect movie to cozy up with on a rainy day and warm your heart and soul.

Two students kill the school weirdo, and a nerdy scientist's son thinks he can save the day by bringing him back with a spare brain from his dad's lab. Bad idea - the brain belonged to a serial killer. The once-shy nerd's behavior quickly changes. Things escalate as Halloween night approaches. This horror comedy tries to mix Frankenstein with teen movie clichés and throw in some satire. It's all been done before. Nothing new, not very funny (except one or two decent laughs). Totally skippable.

Cringey wannabe gangsters, greasy fast food, a weird looking and trash talking killer clown, dark humor, self-irony, a few brutal kills, retro/old-school flair, annoying and downright dumb teens, playful but pointless supernatural elements, a cute and "defloration-ready" Leighton Meester, and a dark secret from the past.. all of that can be found in this short flick. If only these elements were connected by a plot that didn't take occasional bathroom breaks or kick innovation and suspense right in the ass.

Visually, "The Cell" is an absolute spectacle. The dream sequences are powerful and absolutely mesmerizing, but unfortunately, the story has been somewhat neglected. All in all, it's still gripping enough and great for those who love serial killer narratives.

A Pixar movie designed for an older crowd than we’re used to, with a more nuanced humor that works in most parts. The plot is decent, and the characters are pleasantly subtle.

The two main actors are stiff and lack any real enthusiasm, the plot is uninspired and boring, and the ending is a huge letdown. Argento tries to wake you up with a few bloody scenes, but it doesn't really help. The idea of casting Adrien Brody in a double role, including as the killer, is a strange choice that doesn't work. The makeup hides all his facial expressions, making it look ridiculous and unbelievable, like a bad parody. Totally forgettable.
