Sorry, but Rachael Ziegler couldn’t even save this. Waiting on a wish is a good song. That’s about all I can say nice about this.

BFI London Film Festival

A standout performance here from all the cast, but especially Alicia Vikander and Elizabeth Olsen. Both grab you immediately and do not let you go until the denouement that sticks the landing sensationally. 

The absurdist comedy and outstanding set design reminded me quite a lot of recent Yorgos Lanthimos films - long may this trend in cinema continue as it’s really working (for me at least).

BFI Flare 2025 Opening Night Gala

Very enjoyable, very good central performances, solid comedic film (I laughed, a lot). Well worth watching.
