Round 2 hits different.
Entranced & totally swept up in every part — The lore, the story, the world, all so perfectly blast’d w style & confidence. A balance of slick arthouse & grandiose blockbuster: aesthetic overload, authenticity sting’r.
Denis Villeneuve, one of the most important directors to have taken on the task. If you have any bit of skepticism in that statement, I strongly suggest you reconsider. This cements prestige, status, skill, craftsmanship, the lot. Masterful.
Performances, insane, w whatever amount of screen presence, each role is a meaty punch:
-Austin Butler, geeez dude wtf, spicy.
-Timmy’s transformation into full blown messiah, electric.
-Rebecca Ferguson will haunt my dreams & nightmares.
act 3 is so wild & so exciting, an absolute must-see on the big screen. ready for round 3, as I patiently wait for messiah.
