Wanted to like this one, but I found it tedious and boring. Not sure if I loved Pacino in the role, though John Leguizamo, Luis Guzman, and Sean Penn are all great in the film. It just took too damn long to get interesting, but I think, ultimately, Pacino will never be able to sell being Latino to me and it bugs me so much.

I'll be the first to it that I'm biased as hell when it comes to Chef. I work with cooks and chefs in a kitchen and I have a ion for cooking myself. Additionally, my dad has been in the food industry his whole life and I've spent many an hour watching him and learning from him in the kitchen.
