I like what this was going for, but thought the dialogue of the teenagers was so bad I couldn’t take the seriousness seriously.

I’ve never had any desire to go on a cruise, but this movie sold me on the idea. Beyond that, I really enjoyed this grounded exploration of friendship and relationships mixed with ambition and legacy. Every subplot worked for me, every performance added to the film without overwhelming it.

It’s nice when cool movies are also good.
