The wonder was in my heart. But you wouldn't understand something like that.

I have no idea why I wanted to see this a second time; I just ed it being so stupid that I had fun with it. It is really over the top in many ways, with lots of poor effects and bad acting -- which is where comedy enters the equation in what is almost certainly intended as a straight up horror film.
Although this doesn't quite reach the heights of "so bad it's good", I can definitely see why…
I saw this on a whim at a friend's suggestion and it was so much better than I expected after seeing the trailer what felt like a million times and thinking it looked mediocre at best. It went in directions I didn't expect, including a moment that literally made my jaw drop. I also laughed much more than I ever would've expected, thanks to a fantastically crafted dark humor that crept up on me and was at times so bleak that I almost felt guilty for laughing. Definitely my kind of sh*t. 👍🏻

Anya Taylor-Joy has a very exceptional cupid's bow/philtrum situation going on.
This has some jammin' music and a beautiful setting (the movie takes place in Colorado but was shot in Italy).
My favorite moments were a very short-lived but epic shot of a victim's reflection in a knife as she screamed, and the kill where the victim fell through a wall into her crying male companion.
There was also a lot of weirdness - what on earth was that part with the booby traps AND the living head in a jar…
