♡. wow, this film was crazy! it’s my second bergman film and even though it’s not usually my type of film, i couldn’t help but become obsessed with it ♡ it was already pretty solid from the start but when the climax hit i swear i just stopped breathing and was so focused that i couldn’t even blink :’)

the colors, editing, angles and score were so good they gave me chills :’) everything felt so intentional and perfectly put together. i love how her films always have the best editing — she and janine were such a perfect match ♡…

♡. this is probably one of the very few times you’ll see noen and me disagree on something :’) — i thought this film was beautiful, melancholic and delicate ♡ i really love films that feel mundane and natural but if you don’t like slow-paced films, you might not enjoy it as much as i did.
