This movie is perhaps the perfect drinking movie. It is not good, but it is funny in its ineptitude. Jean Claude Van Damn Certainly gives a performance. Raul Julia on the other hand gives one of the best performances you could ask for.

This is perhaps one of the most poorly written adaptations I have ever seen. I love it. It is an absolute visual masterpiece that keeps the eyes pleased while your brain rots from the downright campy and horrendous plot (Even more campy than the original anime.) The humour doesn't stick, It has the attention span of the micro machines guy on cocaine, and children will perhaps find it boring.
