Riley Lemon’s review published on Letterboxd:
I can't say I disagree with all of the positivity that has been lavished on Dune Part 2. It is a superior film to the first building on the last instalment in almost everyway. Its even goes some way to appeasing some of my own misgivings with regards to the cold emotionless nature of the universe of part one. Zendaya in particular is brilliant and provides some much needed emotional depth to the film.
With that being said, despite the spectacular nature of the storytelling, I left my screening with greater iration for the film than love for it. But we are still early doors into the release window and it's nice seeing people having such a great time so I'll leave this as not one for me and I'll hold onto some of my spicier takes for later.
