Cinema is most of all having fun. Frfr

This movie🍿 is the first Conjuring movie🏚️ without James Wan and it shows. The story starts off immediately where James Wan would take his time to create an atmosphere and to establish the characters.
Here we cut🔪 straight to the chase with scares and things happening so fast that would be shocking if they had even 10 more minutes to create a built up.
The story📖 is the most interesting out of all these movies and it unfolds pretty fast,…
-To die.
-To be alone.
This movie is so addictive, it's like a fever dream that you don't have to understand it but you feel it intensely, a mystery, a devine secret, loneliness, a dream... The aesthetic and the whole atmosphere are masterfully done that you get hooked for the whole ride. I love it.
A combination of Carpenter's vision and brilliantly realistic practical effects, this movie is a great reimagining of the original that it's it own thing.
When this movie came out, it was unfortunately overshadowed by Spielberg's E.T, but as the years past and movies became more accessible with the help of the internet it started to form a cult of funs that brought this movie to the light again so the world could appreciate it for once more.
After almost 30 years of its release, it finally finds it's audience and now is considered a classic by movie funs and critics alike.
