The Nun is a film that's filled with many horror clichés that overstay their welcome, and the film at times feels drawn out when some scenes could've been shortened, but other than that, the cast is engaging, the suspense is thrilling, and it's a pretty decent horror film when all things are considered.

Zero character development, the villain from Dead Reckoning who is still in this movie surprisingly, is still bland and forgettable, and for a film that's billed to be the final Mission Impossible film in the franchise, Tom Cruise has stated that he would love the series to keep going until he's at least eighty years old (he's going to be 63 in July).
My advice is to just wait until Final Reckoning is out on streaming services so that you can pause it to go to the bathroom if needed.
