The kids will love it. Mine did.

Not life-changing, but fine. Introduced me to some films I need to see. I still argue that 1984 is the Greatest Geek Year Ever. Ghostbusters, Terminator, Neverending Story, Gremlins, among others.

Completely lost all the charm of the original book. How do you do that?

It was fun, I guess. Kind of a propaganda piece for D&D/WOTC. Don't get me wrong; I love D&D. It was my first. But this film completely failed to acknowledge all the other tabletop RPGs that it spawned. Makes it look like this is the only one.

I would have liked to see more about the people who created the game and made it what it is rather than all the celebs. And maybe more about actually *playing* the game. Put me in the chair. That's the whole point, right?

This film is just too short. It's a big topic that deserves a longer documentary.
