Lewis*’s review published on Letterboxd:
My wife walked out of the theater determined to read the next book, I call that a huge success. The Paul and Chani storyline really got her invested.
I found it a smidge better on rewatch because being able to anticipate certain scenes (wait, am I Lisan al Gaib?) made it even more enjoyable. I really appreciated the inevitability of it all on this watch, and how much work Rebecca Ferguson was putting in during all her scenes, even with just a look.
My favorite modern sci-fi movies are now Arrival, Annihilation, Ad Astra, and Dune: Part II.
