My toxic trait? Every movie I watch instantly becomes the best movie I’ve ever seen.

Hey, so this is crazy!!! 🤯
But on a serious note, I agree with many people here when they say you can tell this movie was directed and written by a woman. Even though the story is dark and twisted (centered on manipulation, statutory rape, and parental neglect), the film manages to delve into an honest exploration of a teenage girl’s psyche and sexual awakening. It’s disturbing, uncomfortable to watch, and painfully real, with a warm undertone. What I appreciated most is that it portrays the abuse without ever feeling exploitative or sensationalized—at least in my view.
