Luke Cummins’s review published on Letterboxd:
A celebration of science fiction crafted with care and intelligence. Part I had pacing issues, but Part II makes it better and proves its necessity.
The Dune books have rich ideas that are not spoon fed to the reader. They also require commitment, but man does that commitment payoff. These two films are fuelled by the spirit of Frank Herbert in the best way possible. God I hope they get to the really crazy stuff, somehow under Villeneuve’s supervision.
