Rogue One: A Star Wars Story

2016

★★★★ Liked Rewatched

After finishing Season 2 of Andor, I just HAD to watch this again, if for no other reason than to view it as the show's real finale.

Near the beginning, I was struck by the gorgeous shots of the French beach as Marianne walks towards the house. An image so simple on the surface, and yet so captivating when you take in all the minor details.

That mantra pretty much sums up how I feel about this film. At first, one might think this is a pure romance drama; nothing more. And sure, in a way, it is, but it's the details that really matter. I could…
