After a month of disappointment and failed searches, I finally get to watch Ran.
I'm not particularly attuned to art direction or visual aspects for film. But Ran's use of colour and the beautiful costumes immediately caught my eye. Realising this was my first Kurosawa colour film, I wondered how much was wasted on other Kurosawa greats on of those films being black and white.
