"I will love you as long as I breathe."

I have never seen a film so accurately depict the manipulation that comes with religious belief. 

The line, "friends turned followers", brings me incredible sadness, especially regarding Stilgar's character. He is no more than "a creature of the Lisan al Gaib."

I'm disappointed they omitted Hawat and Tim Blake Nelson's portrayal of Count Fenring, but I'm glad they handled Alia's character well. Also, I have some criticisms regarding the pacing of certain character relationships, which needed more time to develop. 

It was a great adaption of Frank Herbert's novel. The action was incredible, the visuals were stunning, and the acting was phenomenal. Overall, this duology is an achievement that has yet to be seen since LOTR. After a second watch, I'm sure it will be a 5/5 for me.
