i could write an essay about how this being a part one drastically affects the film and thus the story structure. i think as a whole piece, it’ll be five stars, but as a part one and not knowing the whole story of act two, it really feels like an incomplete part of a bigger whole. the third act FEELS and technically is the midpoint, but it (to me) doesn’t feel like a third act…
