Incredible pacing for a 90 year old film, Never boring for the entirety of the 132 minutes. Gable is charming as always, and makes Christian a caring officer for his commands, yet sometimes failing to understand what's really best for them. Laughton absolutely delivers as the tyrant captain, portraying Bligh as a sadistic but fascinating man you cannot take your eyes off, and although he's certainly not fit to run a ship, he's just such a professional and excellent seaman you can understand how come he's come so far.
