Ryan Showers’s review published on Letterboxd:
It’s even more impressive on a second viewing. The themes and character work crystallized, such as the power dynamics and systematic racism within industry. Would love to see an essay comparing and contrasting Ma and Levee as two sides of the same coin. Also, the true essence of the performances were also emphasized with a second viewing. Boseman is simply on fire from the first to the last minute. Davis’s physical and emotional choices are so carefully chosen.
