Ooof that was a tough watch, but probably necessary. Is it tough to watch because of the graphic scenes shown in the movie or is it rough because it makes me confront my own male gaze and misogyny? Either way it’s a very effective film and even though I’ll probably not watch it again any time soon, I’ll definitely never forget it.

This movie should be called, the stupid moral judging loser that never gets laid. I’d like to believe Rohmer knew how stupid the characters Adrien and Daniel looked, I’ll need to see more of his work, but I’d like to think this is the type of movie where you’re meant to detest the main character like Bonhuer. Haydee is the best! Even though she spends more time with losers even though she shouldn’t.

This will always be an alltime fave. Just one of those movies you've grown up with and know from front to back.

Not the best anthology movie but also not the worst, love John Carpenter being the host of this fun freak show. Their are so many director cameos I can't even list them all or else I'd be afraid of leaving some one out, but its really cool to see the whole gang coming out to show . The Stacy Keach story with the hair is probably the best one just cause Keach's character is so amusing with his insecurity about hair loss. Overall a really good time and will definitely revisit on a not to distant october horror marathon.
