Amazing and a very praise-worthy, modern sci-fi masterpiece of a duology. Frank Herbert most likely would've been very happy with this, if he were alive.

Denis Villeneuve and Greg Fraiser deserve all the praise in the world. Hans Zimmer too, but unlike the first movie, the score here feels a bit mellow and toned down in how epic it was. One of his good scores but far from his best works.

My only qualms with the movie are how packed it feels towards the third act and that the first act is paced slow and a bit filler-like.

Dune: Messiah would be next I feel but the end of this isn't the fulfilling kind and more of an open end, albeit way more satisfying than that of the first one.
