saw that this movie was called filipino gothic horror and i must say, i agree. ganda ng cinematography and pacing—the buildup to the horror and the ghost, the catholic imagery, the nightmares. especially loved how rosa wasn’t even an actual ghost. only at the end and when jun saw her silhouette at the river were the only times. i really liked that and made the jumpscares much more terrifying.
galing. first minutes palang and you already know the movie is amazing with its spectacular and chilling sound design. anxiety-inducing and claustrophobic, this movie is horrifying nd its execution was done well. the implied horrors were done well din and it was just so heartstopping every single scene. cast was amazing

I have never been so thankful to go into a movie blind.
For some reason, I was very adamant with myself to not read anything about this movie and godddd, the experience was just so beautiful. The movie makes you so confused and would often make you question yourself, “what even is the genre of this? Horror?? Supernatural??!” which makes it so much more fun—this thrill and mystery in trying to identify what exactly is happening.

The hate this movie gets is so shocking to me omg?? Out of all the sequels I’ve watched, this movie sequel literally makes the most sense and everything lines up. From deputy so and so, how the family fits in into the equation, like what!! It’s a really good sequel. I love how it focused on the kids, the past kids & the kills this time were SO brutal and violent omg. Sunday Service was my fav out of all the films.
Really loved the progression of the story and the plot. The death of the father was VERY satisfying. Really loved tjis movie talaga omg
