MA'23: 17/31
The goal is to see everything on this list in 2024. It may not be in theaters, and I may see other releases instead; but I don't want to let the movies I'm most excited for me by, so I'm aiming for a 100% by December 31, 2024.
Rules for alterations are as follows:

2. I can, however, add releases that I discover throughout the year in any spot below the first four (in keeping with LB's "Four Faves"), unless it was given a 2024 release late and was already above the first four in my all-time list.
3. Any releases of which I was aware before the year began that didn't make the list until a trailer or buzz got me excited must go on the bottom, below those that had my attention from the start.
4. Buzz from pre-release showings puts such additions below even those of the prior variety, since it's a reaction to the finished film, not the expectation.
#1 ensures that the list is still reflective of my feelings at the beginning of the year when the releases I was anticipating still held that status, while #2-#4 allow the later films of the year to be represented in a list that is meant to cover the entire year without undercutting the long-awaited arrivals.
