Films that inspired Kari Skogland | Maple Popcorn Podcast #13

Canadian filmmaker Kari Skogland was the first guest on the third season of the Maple Popcorn podcast.

During the episode, we asked her what films influenced her signature style - often categorized as gritty, rhythmic and intimate. It was no surprise to hear her name a few early Coppola films.

We've also added a few of her own films and TV series that she referenced in her episode.
