"Consumption" (the title version I watched) nearly reaches that rare level of incompetence—bad acting, confusing storytelling, and a nonsensical plot—where it could have become unintentionally frightening or bizarrely entertaining. Unfortunately, it doesn't go far enough. Instead of turning into a so-bad-it 's-good oddity, it just ends up a confusing, unwatchable mess.
