I love this movie. The character writing in it was phenomenal which is something that I honestly wasn't completely expecting from a screenplay by Damon and Affleck, but here we are.

There is a lot to like about this movie. As always Villeneuve manages to make a movie that looks gorgeous and in contrast to the first movie this one doesn't feel like it wastes any time.
The characters also feel more rounded than before, though still lacking, and we get to spend more time with the ones we know and those that are new. Butler's character and the sequence on Giedi Prime especially stand out to me.
