Alanis Morissette playing God is perfect. During the film it is repeatedly established that the sound of her voice will kill any human or angel who hears it, and then the credits roll to her singing; so I think that means everyone who's ever seen this film to the end is actually dead now. RIP. Still recommend tho!

I've seen this film mostly being praised on it's originality but it's very much built on cultural references and homage (you're even expected to know a bit about traditional vampire lore going in).
