I really wanted to like this more than I did, but I can’t lie about how much Ashitaka pisses me off. He was always doing tm and is just such a plain generic ass character. Like, oh yeah the plot is about the guy who falls for the outcast beautiful wolf forest girl who’s actually cool and is constantly following her around and annoying everyone. 
But other than him this film is visually stunning and the characters are decent

wait.. so let me get this straight, the police rather sacrifice innocent people to get eaten because they’re scared of the animatronics killing them, but as soon as a guy comes in bare handed and easily kills them all they get MAD at him for killing them and solving their problems and try to get him killed so they can continue sacrificing people instead of ending the killing?…

ew why did Zuko end up with Mai (I’m sorry) 
This show is peak though.

The directors fumbling this movie is genuinely one of the most disappointing things ever.
Casting = amazing (mostly)
Visuals = amazing 
Margot Robbie = amazing 
yet it’s honestly just a quickly rushed trashy film, if it got remade it could have some potential but who knows. (I love birds of prey though)

What the fuck did I just watch? 
Sorry but this felt like someone’s fantasies written out and makes absolutely no sense to me why she “fell in love” with Yu at the end or why this is so hyped up.

Long story short: creepy ass perverted teenage boy gets an insane obsession with a girl along with his obsession with secretly taking panty shots of girls all over the street, then proceeds to kidnap her, torment her, kill people for her, although they were never even together. Then at the end of the movie she is randomly struck by him and in love with the creep who pushed himself onto her probably about ten times in this movie. Would’ve been better if she just killed him, but oh well.
