"I'm glad to be with you, Samwise Gamgee. Here, at the end of all things."

CRYING. Watched the entire trilogy in one day (extended editions included). Didn't see sunlight & didn't move, just surrendered to Middle-earth. Easily the most intense & rewarding thing I did all month. First 5/5 of the saga, it's so deserved.

Can't stop thinking about Frodo & Sam. One dragging his body, the other carrying both their souls—it's one of the most beautiful portrayals of friendship I've ever seen.…

"David, I don't care if Ryan murdered his entire family. He's like a son to me." That The Office quote is literally me every time someone talks shit about Anakin.

The Mustafar duel should be the eighth wonder of the world, easily one of the greatest fights in cinema history. Anakin's aura is so cold, such a goated character & his storyline is absolutely heartbreaking. I prefer this film over Empire Strikes Back.

Best one in the prequels, by far.

Alien abortion, xenomorph origins, science vs faith, the destructive power of human curiosity… interesting. Not a masterpiece, half the questions never get answered & definitely not the Alien we know, but a solid prequel.

Ripley's back... as a clone with alien DNA & basketball skills LMAO. Xenomorphs are crying now, there's a giant mutant baby with a human face & somehow this wasn't a parody?

Plot feels like a Frankenstein mess of sci-fi clichés, forgettable dialogue & some questionable creative choices. I kept waiting for it to get better, it didn't.

Only thing holding this disaster is Winona Ryder, even she looks like she's lowkey regretting every scene.

Watched this bc I felt guilty not knowing what was going on in the latest Alien film I watched with my dad, so I started from the beginning. Here we are.

The first hour was kinda slow, but in a good, suspenseful, "something's about to go horribly wrong" way. The tension builds like crazy. Ripley is everything... smart, tough & iconic. That final scene where she's in her undies? Ma'am? I'm in love.

Can't believe this was made in 1979, ridiculously…

"Get away from her, you bitch!"
So this is where Johnny Cage's line in MK1 actually comes from, finally got it. 🤌🏻

Seriously amazing, can't decide if this or the first one's my fave.
