Just immensely satisfying to see Coogler’s talent on screen undiluted. It was interesting enough to see him step into horror but this is practically a musical. Refreshing to watch a movie of this scale and bombast with a clear perspective and free of bloat. At least 20 people in my screening left before the real ending and boy did they miss out. RC/MBJ undefeated.

Ashitaka is what centrists think they are, but in reality they are Jiko-bô.

Still feel like the resolution here is a little dissatisfying but everything else is so vibrant, well-crafted and compelling I don't really care.
